Very nice campground with pull thru sites and full hook ups. I enjoyed talking with the owner and another camper while we were doing laundry. Very quiet and restful.
All the sites are full service and we were in a partialy shaded site. There are several seasonal campers so we had so.e great conversations with them. Good location for touring and day trips.
It would appear that they are trying to make it nicer but not a stop I would make again. Couldn't connect sewer unless you have an extension. Dump site is on the wrong side of exit. Owner gave no information of bathrooms. No dog park. Not very clean.
A nicely decorated campground. Little decor accents of flowers and antiques randomly around the campsites. Very nice touch. Penny from the office was professional and friendly. They had phone problems, so I couldn't make a reservation in advance. I just showed up and was pleased to get a spot. All the campsites are pull through and propane is available. Good experience.
After calling the number on the office door, Penny (owner) greeted us upon arrival. She was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us a tour of where the bathrooms were located and then explained that I needed to call her to use the showers, which were in the office area. (Office locked up most of the day) Kind of strange set up, but no big deal. Be prepared for a tobacco smoke smell in the office and bathrooms. It’s no big deal either, but I’m not used to that I guess. I paid a very fair price ($43/night for 3 nights) for full hook ups. We were located about 4-5 sites away from the office, and our wifi was very good. The entire campground has nice pull through sites with cool flower gardens all around. Overall the campground was quite laid back and friendly. Despite the odd shower situation and smoke odor, I would definitely stay at Whispering Valley RV Park again. 4.5 stars!
