Great place to host a small event. Group camping spots with power. Water is close. I don't think it's potable but can't say for sure.
We have only been here since yesterday July 2nd and here until Sept 30th, 2025. This place is definitely a hidden gem, it is absolutely beautiful here. There are no trees around the campsites, but that doesnt even matter, its open for the view. Ours sites has 30 amp power and the water hose is located close to our site for refilling the water and septic can be pumped out on Friday's if you make your appointment on the Wednesday for an extra fee, I thought that was awesome for now you dont have to hookup and go to town to dump.. The washrooms are fair size and the shower stall has its own flushable toilet and a very spacious shower which is a Loonie to start and I found out during last night's shower it is typically 2$ for 6 minutes. Our site over looks the Red Deer River, beautiful view, peaceful and quiet. Wanda is an amazing and very friendly woman, who greeted us upon arrival. I have two little female miniature pinschers who typically bark at strangers, Peanut is a bit tougher to convince then Butter, that people don't mean any harm and I have never seen this, they loved Wanda, Peanut was nuzzling into Wandas hand and was basically purring, the most relaxed I have ever seen with someone new. I think Wanda is a dog whisperer, she was amazing with my girls. If you ever get a chance to come this way you should checkout the Burbank Hall and campground, I think like me, you'll fall in love with this place instantly.
We stayed at the group site #2 for a family event to only find out after the fact, that they charge 35 dollars per tent. Also charge anyone who had a pop up gazebo as if it was a tent. Very shocking bill not expecting especially when you are already being charged for the group campsite. It would be nice if the lady staff gave us a heads up about the charges on the gazebos and tents before hand, when we thought the tents were only 10 dollars. Gazebos should never be charged for, no one sleeps in those. Do not recommend this campsite to anyone.
Have never stayed at the campground but we go on weekly walks down to the river since we live nearby. Beautiful place to go for a walk in any season! Anyone we have ran into from the campground has been very friendly.
I stayed here for a month while working in the area. Nice campground right on the Red Deer river. The washrooms and showers are a little older, but well kept and clean. There's water on site to fill your trailer and sewer tank emptying can be arranged for an extra charge. 30 amp power is also available. The cost is at par with what you would pay at fully serviced sites elswhere. If you buy firewood there, the bag sizes are generous for the price. Wanda and Doug manage the campground and are very friendly and always available and willing to help out. They don't micro manage peoples camping experience by coming by and asking them to be quiete ect unless they have gotten complaints.
