Great location for camping in the Keys!! :25 mins from Key West, and a third the cost of the big RV “resorts”. Close beaches in both directions, good food within walking distance at the Big Pine Rooster.

I had a really disappointing experience at this place. I ordered a New York steak with risotto, but what I got was a tough, flavorless steak and a so-called “risotto” that was just overcooked rice — dry and bland, nothing like what a real risotto should be. On top of that, the service was terrible. The waitress was inattentive, not friendly at all, and we had to ask for basic things multiple times. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. The plate was messy, poorly presented, and the ingredients looked like they were thrown on randomly without care. Overall, poor food and poor service. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience.

We stayed here four nights through Airbnb. It reminded me of a trailer park more than an RV park. Very junky and tightly packed. I could barely open my car doors to unload because other people and their things were so close. Many of the empty lots still had trash and junk in them. There is an office on property but no one was ever there for our stay.

This is all private owned lots, alot rent them out. The laundry, bathrooms are clean and upkept. The laundry is a great price. The neighbors are all friendly. They staff has weekly social events.

Do yourself a favor and pay for a nicer place to stay. I have never been more disappointed with a camping experience in my life. We arrived on a Saturday and there was no one in the office until Monday. There was supposed to be a log book to check in, but there wasn’t. Despite this the lady in the office still gave me a nasty attitude about. Secondly, the site we rented does not have hook ups on the correct side of the lot. The hook ups are actually on someone else’s property. We had to pull our camper as close as possible to her side to be able to reach the electric. Then, she wouldn’t allow us to have our awning out or chairs due to “encroaching on her space.” Ok, no big deal, except she parked her giant truck at least 3 ft on our side everyday. The bathrooms were nasty. There is junk everywhere. And the parked is filled with nosey, confrontational, rude permanent residents who appear to have nothing better to do than bother people on vacation. Breezy Pines should be labeled as a trailer park instead of a campground. I have pictures to back up my claims. Do yourselves a favor and spend the money to stay somewhere else. These folks think the park is super nice, but they need a reality check. Dumps like this should atleast be more laid back.
