Beautiful spot with long boardwalk trail through a marsh, along with a beach around three quarters of a mile long. The beach has tons of flotsam making it a great place to look for shells and other collectibles. Beware the mosquitos beginning at dusk, they are innumerable, but the bites are mild. Water and electric hookups with a dump across the road on the way to the inland side of the park. Beautiful place to visit.
I was at Sea Rim SP on one of the coldest days and night of the year. It was wonderful. I had the beach, marsh and sand dunes mostly to myself. The Vault toilet was clean and well supplied with TP. There was no trash can inside the toilet so bring a bag and you can dispose of any feminine products outside in the trashcan. I primitive cramped on the beach but there were electric sites available. If you go in better weather you may want to make a reservation. The bird and animals in the park were varied and all but the boat tailed black birds were respectful and not habituated.
The kind of park with a small fee, awesome beach driving, and wonderful opportunity to excercise. The water was not clear. There were deer tracks and ample wildlife on the beach. Including two gar captured in a tide pool that was kind of cool. This beach stretch is worth keeping clean and pristine, natural, and enjoyable for all.
Beautiful location, board walk is fantastic. BRING BUG SPRAY! And also an electric swatter as these pesky bugs go literally everywhere and without that swatter we'd be eaten alive. Still worth staying but brew prepared.
Nice place to camp for a couple of days. We almost had the beach to ourselves in mid October and the weather was great. There is an area that you can drive onto the beach Be prepared for mosquitoes.
