I haven’t even stayed here yet and I’m already disappointed. I have been trying to book about 10 rooms for a family reunion and have just been given the complete run around. I called to see how best to book so we could be close together and was told I needed to book all 10 and put a credit card down to be able to be close, so I gather all info and call to do this and then am told that 1. Everyone could just book on their own and then I could call and ask for the reservations to be close and 2. We would actually qualify for a group discount with 10 rooms. So then I get sent to group sales. My main concern was that if some people needed to cancel I wouldn’t be held responsible for them and was told “as long as they cancel before 10 days it’s fine” then of course I was sent the contract and that’s not the case, I would have to pay for any cancellations after 1 room and on top of that the “discount” they gave me was barely $100 off the total…how is that worth it for me. I wish they would have just been straight up with me from the beginning and all the opposing info is making me not even want to stay there
As nice as you can expect from an RV parking area. They are way too strict with kids riding eBikes, so the activities for kids can be limited to a cold pool or sitting next to you unless they ride something else. We got the cabin with loft, very nice and comfortable. No electric fast chargers that we saw. Wineries are a joke, shit wines at retail prices, bring your own and drink by the fire
I’ve stayed at this campground before and used to enjoy it, but unfortunately the experience has changed significantly — and not for the better. The biggest difference is the customer service management have change Staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and seemed uninterested in resolving basic concerns. Simple questions were met with attitude, and there was very little effort made to make guests feel welcome. On top of that, the quality of the amenities has noticeably declined. Restrooms were not maintained properly, broken doors dirty rooms and on common areas were poorly kept, and overall cleanliness was far below what you would expect for the price being charged. The experience no longer matches what this campground used to represent. It’s disappointing to see a place that once had potential drop in both service and standards. Until significant improvements are made, I would not recommend staying here and would suggest others carefully consider their options before booking. I normally don’t leave reviews like this, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. During my stay, I felt uncomfortable and singled out in ways that were hard to ignore. The tone, the way I was spoken to, and the overall treatment felt noticeably different compared to how other guests were being treated. As a Hispanic customer, it left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. No one should feel uneasy or judged while simply trying to enjoy a trip. Customer service should be respectful and equal for everyone, regardless of background. I truly hope management reflects on this and works on creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all guests. Until then, I cannot recommend this place.
I have been coming to this RV resort for several years. During my visit last year, I experienced poor service and a negative attitude from staff. I decided to give the resort another chance this year, but unfortunately, the experience was no different. My children were riding their scooters and enjoying themselves when the assistant manager, Maygen, approached me in a very disrespectful manner. She immediately stated that riding scooters was not allowed in the park. I explained that we were on our third day, the park was extremely quiet (with roughly 13 trailers present), and the children were simply having fun. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she threatened to remove us from the park and told me we would never be allowed to return if it continued. The way this was communicated was rude, unwelcoming, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. As a law enforcement officer, I can confidently say I do not even speak to suspects in the manner I was spoken to. The interaction was shocking and unacceptable. There was no effort to be respectful or customer-focused. Because of this repeated behavior over multiple visits, I will not be returning. I was also informed by another staff member that the property is being sold, which may explain the decline in customer service—but it does not excuse it.
Nice cozy place to stay if you don't like floor/outdoor tent camping. The cottage has a full kitchen, propane BBQ pit & nice little patio/deck area with seats. Heater/AC inside unit along with hot water. We had a small issue with the toilet and the front desk sent a maintenance person IMMEDIATELY. I honestly thought I'd be waiting hours. Will definitely be coming back again next year.
