I lived there 3 years. Following change of management, I was told I was 3 months behind in rent. I had paid every month on time thus far, so I found that disturbing. I asked new manager for run down on what months were said to be unpaid My husband has spent more time IN hospitals & nursing homes for the past 5 years, than he has at home. Getting to and from Phoenix to help with life, was very difficult. I lost many things in confusion. You're only allowed to pay via money order there, and id lost all my little stubs. So since I couldn't prove my payments, I applied for help. This process took several months. I wrote to manager uncountable times requesting run down on allocation of charges, name address, and phone number of owner as it's required to complete application for assistance. She never provided anything except a total balance. I kept telling her I needed this information to complete application. She ignored me .. In the mean time everyone in the park knew of her intent to evict me...my neighbors across the street knew she was filing for eviction before I did. A man who we knew from the complete opposite end of park knew my business. She harassed my daughter / caretaker who stayed with us to help, as the work was too much for me ..I have a heart condition and any exertion is exhausting. So she picked up mail, took out the trash, helped get my husband up and out of bed, helped with shopping and cleaning etc. Manager threatened arrest for trespassing. She told my daughter that someone with same hair color as hers was seen around place acting suspiciously. Well my daughter has brown hair. How likely do you think it is, that someone else in the area has brown hair??!! What a joke. My daughter is 41 years old...she didn't go wandering around mobile home park. Well, she picked up twigs around the road and sides of the road, so we'd have kindling for the fire once. She was harassed about that.. My son in laws daughter was getting ready to leave after staying the night. The manager stopped her and told her we'd better get out because we weren't paying. I barely knew the girl. What right did she have, sharing that I formation with a guest at my house. She had me served eviction papers on a Friday evening for a court date the following Tuesday. I worked diligently to learn laws and how to file an answer and had it all prepared. Then my daughter's friend parked her car in neighbors lot. Nobody occupying the lot at that time. But mgr came and told me I had 1/ 2 hr to move vehicle. Since I can't push a SUV by myself, I had to find others to help. We got the vehicle in to my lot.. Then she had it towed anyway leaving us without a vehicle. By the time I got paid and could try and get vehicle, the storage fees were more than my monthly income, so I lost my car. When court date came, I had no way to get to court. There are no busses, no Uber, no Lyft, no taxis, no type of transportation available. You can't get cell signals, you can't get a landline set up. I tried that and paid for service 6 months before I got the billing to stop. I could NEVER get a dial tone. A friend was going to come drive me to court, she lives in Phoenix. Anyway the only road to our mobile home park closes at 9 am till 2 pm on Monday thru Thursday every week. She got to the blockage at 9 :05 and therefore could not get me to court. I tried to call court but could not get cell phone signal. The place everyone calls " the phone booth" which is an empty lot with a couple concrete slabs where apparently trailers or motor home resided previously. Anyway, it's at least a mile down the road, and since I no longer had a car, I didn't have access to the phone booth. Due to my heart condition, I couldn't walk 50 ft let alone a mile. So I had no way to contact anyone With husband in Phoenix needing more surgery, no car in "top of the world" Arizona and nobody near by who I could ask for help, I sat for a couple of days. Finally I asked neighbor who said he'd take me to Superior. But he never came.
Edit: I called the number provided. I emailed the email provided. Would you like copies? I filled the application and payed a fee! I was emailed back that I was missing information so I provided it! Don't make excuses for your lack of communication! I can send copies to another source to get my application fee back or you can refund it in full. It was none of my fault. This was all on your end. I emailed asking if there was availability for short term parking for our RV. Got a reply to call the next day. I called and talked to someone. She said she'd text me a link for their application and I never got it. I inquired again via email and was told it was sent, but to find out she supposedly sent it to the wrong number. I went to the website and filled out the rather lengthy ridiculous application and paid the fee. I was contacted back they needed more information. I sent it. Then silence. I called and left a message to call me back as we were getting closer to needing that space. Nothing. We finally had to find a different place to go. They put us in a tight spot by ghosting me. Taking an application fee and no intention of us being able to park there. Not very good business.
Really nice and peaceful, a fantastic place! The manager Jamie is outstanding- very knowledgeable, helpful, goes above and beyond, and is very appreciated!
This place is full. Of people who seem to mind thier business it's a small very remote located trailer park. Don't expect any frills or even cell service here which makes internet service -or any service- slim Pickens (price gouging in effect see also:Hughes satellite internet service) however is it that much of a price to pay for a quiet escape from the city with a lovely temperature break located at the top of the world Az, this place is a breath of fresh air don't drink that water as it's said to have been poisoned by the copper mines but hey, is anywhere perfect? Oh yeah don't forget it's 10mph in the park... And they will run you down and remind you of that any and every time you go in excess of 13-14mph so slow down speed racer live a little or run away from the nasty loud congested hot city of hell located a mere 45-1hr away
Spent a month and a half here and wanted to stay longer. Nice neighbors quiet and accommodating.. Sparky and his wife are great people to rent from. Hope the job will take me back to the "top of the world" someday.
