We stayed here overnight on our way out to Theodore Roosevelt national Park and Glacier national Park. This place is nothing special. The older gentleman with the beard is really nice and showed us where a spot was. It seems that there are several people that look like they live there permanently. $65 per night is way too high price to pay.
I love this place! I stayed 1 night with my mom. There's a big pool and an arcade in the bar! We stayed a cabin which was very nice to have. It has electricity and ac. It even had a microwave and min fridge. There's also a dock you can walk to.
The owners of this campground are amazing. I have traveled all over the US and I have not found a better place to stay. They are very family oriented. I would highly recommend this campground. Brent Schofield
The camp was quiet, and clean, and that was nice, they brought you firewood in a cold cart and every single staff person was very nice! They’ve got clean bathrooms and showers, a pool and a playground, so if you’ve got young ones (we don’t) this would be a good place! Now for the bad. We stayed at plot a11, lots of shade, very pretty trees… but no grass… so it was very sandy, and it was also slanted about 25% and the only flat spot was pretty far away from the hookups, and sadly it was very close to the plot next to us (close enough to be obnoxious) and the guy and his family where hammered and loud…but the worst thing of all? The vent for the septic tank was right at the end of our plot. The smell was so bad that it stuck to the inside of my Jeep, our camper, and to our dogs….. We came into town for a wedding, and I spent about 100 dollars on deodorants to get the smell out of my Jeep and camper. The dogs get a bath, whatever, but I feel like maybe that shouldn’t be a plot, for 170 bucks we got to smell like a septic tank at my best friends wedding. If I wanted to smell like that, I’d of gone to work with pigs. Maybe it was just my plot that was bad and that ruined my experience there, but I feel that something should be said.
We stayed one night at this private campground a few miles off of I94. It is rustic, with spaces situated among the trees. Although not paved, they were well drained, firm and my favorite, pretty level. Lots of space, and amenities like a pool that would be good for a family. The manager was friendly and escorted us to our pull through space with full hookups. Cash or checks only.
