Stopped in during a trip and was surprised to find that nothing had prices listed. A small bag of cinnamon bears ended up being $12.99—something I can usually get for $4 or $5 elsewhere. Some snacks tasted old and were also unmarked, but rang up at $8 when they’re usually half that. The soda I got was flat too. Overall, I left feeling taken advantage of. Clear pricing and better product quality would make a big difference.
Small but reliable spot for truckers with 6 parking spaces—arrive before 11 PM to secure a spot. The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent, especially the made-to-order burgers. Prices are a bit high, but the quality is worth it. The convenience store is well-stocked with snacks and drinks, and the bathrooms are very clean. Diesel is available with easy access at the pumps. Overall, a great stop for a break or overnight parking.
Was here on a 34 hour break, and I’m very pleased to have stopped here. The staff were extremely friendly, and accommodating to truckers. The food was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend trying the burgers. Truck parking is small, but never did fill up, so there was always parking. Only downside I could really say is the campground being right off the lot because it makes you feel as if you will be disturbing the camp if you idle, so I left my truck off the whole time. Not a big deal, but could be a bit inconvenient. Nobody told me I couldn’t idle, I just thought it would be rude to make the people camping listen to a semi truck running while they’re trying to enjoy their stay. Otherwise this place is a complete gem of a stop, and I highly recommend stopping in. Also, they do sell diesel fuel if you need it. I don’t know what if any fuel cards they take, because I didn’t need to use them while I was there.
This place has everything for your RV travel needs. First of all there’s tons of room to turn around, get into the many gas pumps. There’s diesel and regular. There’s propane. There’s a dog park. There’s an RV overnight park. There’s a dump station. There’s a convenience store. There’s fast food but we didn't eat there since we were good on food. The staff is friendly. Marking this place on our gazetteer for sure.
If you are ever passing thru apple valley and come across this small travel center take a break and stop here. The workers were so nice and helpful. The food was cooked to order, every item on the menu is. The store itself also has plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. The bathrooms were clean as a whistle and there is plenty of seating for you to sit down and eat. As far as truck parking there is only six spaces and 2 high flow truck pumps. I recommend this place.
