Our 3 month stay was wonderful and Joey at the office is so sweet. However, their system charged us an extra month. Before leaving in early December, we were told they'd sort it out and refund us by the next week. It's now the end of January and we have yet to receive our refund of almost $600. They keep telling us we "should have it this week/next week/tomorrow". We are beyond frustrated. We had to move across the country (military) and go through the holidays without our money and are approaching two months of no refund despite my calling 1-2x a week and being told we'd get it.
Wow! I couldn't have picked a better place to camp for almost 2 weeks while I was waiting to move into my house. Very friendly campers, some permanent, some just visiting. Excellent bathrooms available by the office with showers, very clean. The laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers, but don't take quarters, I had no problem just using my credit card and there's also an app to pay by. Enjoyed visiting every morning their coffee place in the corner. Always well stocked and free. The beach on Topsail Island is just 15 minutes away. No reason not to camp at Seahaven if you're visiting and want a quiet, safe place to park your camper!
We recently stayed here for 3 nights while on a longer trip. It is a nice quiet campground and is well maintained. They came and cut the grass and edged while we were there and were very careful around everyone's Halloween decor, including ours! There is a very nice dog park that our two dogs enjoyed during our stay. I will say, though, that some of the sites are really stacked very close together. We actually paid more for a "waterfront " site that kind of was, but not what we expected. You can see my pictures. There is a great seafood market really close( Davis Seafood Market) where we bought some wonderful scallops, shrimp, and flounder! There is a cute Farmer's market right down the road as well. And a fun t shirt shop in town called Shark Attack.Overall our stay here was fine and if you need a place near Camp Lejuene it will be fine for you too. Oh yeah! And you get to watch the military aircraft fly over on their training runs which I thought was really cool!
They were very accommodating in helping us with storage for our pop up camper. We can't wait to us it more often and one of there 2 locations.
We had a great time here except for the huge winter storm that caused us to have to leave early. But, everyone was so friendly from the office to the permanent residents of the park. Big dog park located center of park. This park is right by the base which we needed to go for work. But enjoyed a relaxing, safe environment. The handyman her was very friendly and said if we needed anything to let him know. We will be back soon. Looking around April time-frame. Thank you guys so much.
