Frio River RV Park

I gave Frio River RV Park five stars because it is easily accessible, clean, has several pull through sites, is a 5-minute walk to the Frio River, full hookups, and Steve the owner is a really nice and helpful guy. There is a restroom but no showers that I found. They have playground equipment for kids. The sites are level and each site has a picnic table. Hardly any trees which I like because the night sky was in full view, I had a good view of the Milky Way. We stayed for three nights in late September. I plan to put this RV park on our Texas Hill Country rotation.

As a group, we have never been in a RV park that required every night stay as deposit & worse, that they would not refund ANY of the paid amount if you had to cancel, 2 MONTHS ahead of reservation!! In 8 years of camping, only one night deposit required & only ONE night non refundable, not 3! The office wouldn't set campsite #'s until the day before arrival & they assigned campers that needed 50 amp in 30 amp sites & visa versa & we're aggravated that the campers needed to be changed to appropriate amps 🤷 these campers camp everywhere year round & some were treated with disrespect.

Great family park. Beautiful frio river frontage, outstanding to swim and play in. Friendly, helpful staff. No wifi in actual park, office only. We found this great, our grandkids never left the river for 2 days! Planning return!

We fled Hurricane Harvey and stayed here. We couldn't have found a better place. The owners are great people with HUGE hearts. They flat rated us rather than jacking the price up like others do. The park is clean and family friendly and sits right on the Frio River. We are now loyal customers and will be back here nxt summer.

Great campground with close access to the Frio. The team here are super nice and and are no nonsense. They don't want to be known as a party place, but rather a place you and your family can have a great time and relax. The RV park and cabins are nothing extravagant, but has what you need to lay your head down. 2nd visit here and looks forward to next year.
