This campgrounds is an hour drive away from our home. Very nice campgrounds. The second night we were here some people pulled into the camp spot right next to us at 2AM!! And had no courtesy for the other campers yelling and slamming there doors for quite some time. Every night since then they have been extremely loud! Last night some of their friends parked a camper on the other side of us and banged doors and hollered around until 5am!! Several of the other campers left. As far as I can tell the camphost has done nothing about it. So aggravating to spend all the time and money going camping just so a couple of people can ruin it for everyone else. Be nice to know if there was something that could have been done?
My family has been in a road trip for 10 days and literally this was the worst campground we’ve stayed at. 11:30pm on a Monday and mosquito abatement person with his weed eater spray motor pegged to 10 hot laps it multiple times thru the campground at 30mph and fogs out all the campers. The whole campground was gassed and ppl covering their faces with shirts to avoid the spray. The same idiot goes down every side road around with this super loud contraption. Promptly at 8am the maintenance department shows up and parks “in our campsite” and proceeds to trim tree branches with a spinning blade on yet another weed eater. The super loud metal saw blade sound woke everyone up in the campground. Has common sense left this area or what? I will never stay here again and will logging a formal complaint with BOR.
Great place to camp 🏕. As soon as I pulled in, I knew this place was cool. There are water pumps(drinking water). There are also vault toilets. Back-in spots only, tho. $8 bucks anite this place offers more than some places I stayed at for more $. I'll definitely come back here.🙏👍By the way. The Host Stu, good man. Thanks, Stu.
Very clean, cheap and friendly camp host. We stayed the weekend in a tent lots of shade. Met some really nice people. Bring mosquito repellent though. We didn't notice it Thursday but Friday night we did. Fishing is just up the road. And great little store very close buy with a few things you may have forgotten or need some gas, there very friendly there too. 7.5 miles to horsebend. Can get a little traffic noise on the road behind the camp ground or I'd give it a 5. But,over a great deal 😄. We will be back. Got to see Deer and elk a couple times. 3 dollar a night for tents and 8 dollars a night RV, trailers ECT and 3 dollar dump site. Portable water available. RV and trailer have a concrete pad and fire pit, picnic tables and BBQ pit and a trash can. Tents have a grassy area and picnic tables at every spot and trash can near by.
It's just a nice, cheap, and easy location to get to for a quick camp trip. And they have wheelchair access picnic tables, a vault restroom, and portable water
