We had an absolutely peaceful 10 days here during some of the coldest days in January. Christine was a lovely, attentive hostess in every way. Spacious level camping spot with power, water, and sewer and a bath house close by. We don’t have horses but loved being around them, the cows, and the peacocks in the distance, lots and lots of space for walking, and places for our dogs and cat to explore. We will absolutely come back if we’re in the area and, if you need a peaceful retreat or just some restful time away, I would encourage you to visit and stay a few days 😁.
A group of friends (11) all met at Long Branch Rest and Ride for a fun, long weekend. Christine, the owner, was so very accommodating and helpful with all the things!!!! She overcame some unexpected difficulties just before our arrival and still went over and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of. The campground was very nice with some special amenities and the paddocks for our horses were great. Trails were sooooo much fun and although they are not marked, were easy to navigate. Our group had a blast and will definitely be back.
Nice, quiet campground that is fairly close to Holton Creek WMA, Suwannee Ridge WEA, and the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. Tracy is very accommodating and usually returns calls within minutes, if not seconds. A group of us stayed at the campground during four weekends of mobility impaired hunts at Holton Creek WMA and general gun hunts at Twin Rivers WMA. Our sleeping arrangements ranged from tents to pop-ups and travel trailers. Not a single complaint or issue from any of us. We're already looking forward to hunting season next year, and can't wait to come back!
What a beautiful place! Stayed here during Hulaween festival for a hot shower and quiet off time from fest to sleep in. Woke to birds chirping and relaxation. I stayed in a cute little Cabin with great ac /heat I used both. Big bathroom hot shower next door a few steps away. Rode our bikes over to fest. 2.8 miles away. It’s dog friendly so you can bring the pups or your horses !! I originally got this for that reason to bring my dogs but ended up not bringing them. Our room had 2 twin beds, mini fridge & microwave.
Diamond in the rough! If your near live oak Florida and need a day or two to rest or you need a long term spot because you are working in the area this place if fantastic. Animals and Horses are welcome! Paddocks all around you, and beautiful farm feel. Tracy was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. I would defiantly stay again. Full hook ups, pull through sites. Beautiful views.
