My husband and I have been living at this RV park for the last 2 months and it’s been really nice. The washroom and showers are always really clean and it’s a fairly new facility. The laundry consists of 1 washer and 1 dryer but they are available at no extra charge which is really amazing. The park is maintained well by the caretakers and they will deliver you 12 pieces of firewood right to your spot for you. The fire pits are really big too! The monthly rate is about $1000 a month for full service (water, sewer, 30/50amp) plus laundry included as well. Park is mostly quiet, seems to be a lot of ppl who live here seasonal and work during the day. The odd weekend the park has gotten busy with weekenders, and that’s the only time it gets a little loud at night. Having the multiplex next door with a 24/7 gym and a library has been really nice as well. I have Telus cell service and I get 2 bars in the park, most of the time it works pretty well but sometimes it can get really spotty to the point my calls cut out or the videos I’m watching won’t load. Overall great place to spend the season if you’re looking for a quiet spot close to Red Deer for work and regular living rather than camping.
We stayed in our tiny trailer for 4 nights and really enjoyed what this site has to offer. Nancy was so nice and informative. She got back to me very quickly and answered all my questions. Bathrooms were so clean! Showers are hot and water pressure is good. While there arent any trees around, the little pond made it a nice scene. Looks like you can fish here so bring your rod 😉 We usually camp in the bush but havent figured out our trailers shower yet. So the water/power hook up was really convenient. Much better than the hotel we usually stay in when working in the area. Will be back 100%
Great city owned campground. We were in site 54 pull thru with 30 amp, water and sewer. It fit all 65 feet of us. No WiFi but cell phone and two data bars allow one to do most of what is needed. Pull through sites only have 30 amp. 50 amp back-in’s are available. Gravel lot that are level. Only slight leveling needed. Nice grassy spot between sites. Fire pits are at every other site as there is an extra charge for those. Booked site online and drove directly to it. Campground host arrived shortly after with information on pizza delivery. Just 2 km back toward the highway is the pizza place, Burger King with gluten free buns, and a liquor store as well as Diesel and regular gas. We got it there before heading to the campground along with food. Made it very convenient. Host is very nice. Nice creek at back of campground. Stopped for a night on way to Calgary Stampede.
This campground is a little hidden gem, for sure!!! Although there isn't a ton to "do" at the camp site, there is a park not far away. Very close to all amenities. VERY clean! Has a shower facility and laundry at no cost. Very clean campground. Nice view of the fields and a little water reservoir that makes for nice pictures! Overall, a great little place to visit!
This is a very new campground, opening for its first full season in 2019. While the trees have a lot of growing to do, the sites are appropriately sized, level, and fully serviced. They're doing everything they can to make campers feel welcome and ensure they have all amenities. A beautiful FREE shower and laundry facility helps to wash away grit from a day of fun. About 6 minutes from Red Deer's Gasoline Alley, this is a great, accessible, community campground. Poor reviews are likely due to later than expected grand opening date.
