Hamelin Pool Caravan Park & Cafe

Perfect location with amazing history. This park has more facilities then the parks in Kalbarri. The pool is perfect The showers have amazing pressure and so nice and hot. This is the only park that you can park and leave your van at a discounted rate to explore steep point and know its safe. Its such a beautiful location at night with the stars endless Put it on your visit list ✨️

For us Hamlin Pool CP was a good place to break for the day, although it was a little bit more expensive than we hoped at $40 for an unpowered site. The people running the show are very friendly and they sell a few things in the shop, we bought some ice creams and a bottle of Margaret River red wine. The old shell brick quarry was worth a look and a shame the Stromatolite Boardwalk looks like it’s a long way from being replaced. Some interesting birds like the Chiming Wedgebill.

Amazing time at Hamelin Pool Caravan Park as Patricia and her son were amazing to deal with. Very cosy spot with showers, a pool, food and drinks to buy. I haven't been to quite such a historic campsite in WA as this and couldn't recommend it enough to any travellers looking to tick some landmarks off their list. Need to book over the phone but also walk-ins are accepted and we had no problem booking the night we arrived. Thank you Patricia!

Hammy Pool was great to us and we stayed four nights because of its convenient location to other places we were checking out in the area. Although rustic amenities, the history of the property was super interesting. The owner was lovely to us, but as it's a one person operation and the site does not receive any funding for its historical significance,she is very busy - patience and kindness go a long way. We enjoyed our info session about the stromatolites in the evening, and the burgers were delicious! We paid $40 for two adults tenting on an unpowered site, which is standard cost every where else we have been. Thank you so much for your hospitality Trish ☺️

This is an excellent spot to relax and unwind. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always eager to assist. While the amenities may be a bit dated, they are consistently clean. If you're looking for a place that feels like a step back in time, this is the perfect choice. A big thank you to Trish and Frank for their outstanding service! P.S. You need to bring drinking 🍸 water 💧 as the park is on bore water 💧
