I am a seasonal .I love it will be my5 years camping this year
This place was the perfect place to enjoy nature and unplug from reality. We had a bad time traveling from Kentucky to Indiana but when we made it here this place made it well worth it. The campground is such a beautiful place and very well maintained. Savannah and her staff were so friendly too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be returning!
We have stayed at Rising Sun several times and it never disappoints. It seems like each time we go back, they’ve done something new to upgrade the place! The pool has a brand new beautiful liner, new gate at the entrance for extra security, playground with an awesome gaga pit (I thought that was a unique little touch) and so much more!! Each weekend they are having some kind of family friendly activities that are inclusive to all age groups! The option for float trips is definitely an added bonus. Also with it being right on the river, fishing is definitely a perk as well. Should you forget any essentials, they have a convenient little store on site that has just about anything you may need. If you’re looking for a local, safe, family oriented place to camp at - I 100% recommend checking them out!
Rising Sun Campground is our home away from home! Owners and staff are so friendly and generous. The grounds are clean, the pool is safe, and the people are kind! Head to the river for a fun and carefree weekend!
I really liked this campground. Plenty of space for non seasonals. The only drawback was the lack of sewer hookups, but I knew about that ahead of time. I liked the entertainment on Friday night. The place was definitely quite at night. It's not really near much of anything, so that keeps noise and light pollution down. The shower house wasn't very big or fancy, but it was clean and functional. I didn't use the pool, but it looked like kids were having fun in it. I arrived on a weekday and the place was dead, but it filled up on the weekend and was a fun place. I would definitely come back here.
