Kincaid Park Campground

A great place to camp they have many spots, restrooms, covered awning with tables for get together.

We stayed here on a night with a half moon, my dark sky finder app said this location was a 5 out of a scale of 0 to 14 which is darn good! I love dark sky locations, this place could market that but the darn light in the parking lot was so bright we had to pull the shade to sleep. In the early morning, we heard coyotes and when we went for a walk saw deer and maybe cat marks in the dirt by the water! We love the wildlife and the sounds of nature. The only downfall was that darn light, it would be wonderful if they removed it or switched to ones used by observatories.

Always have a great time anytime I am at this campground. Can't wait to be able to bring my kids here every year

Great place to go camping with my camper for the first time. Make sure to bring shoes for pets, lots of stickers and cockleburrs. Great view of the lake and not too many people. The ones that were here were very friendlyand helpful. Will for sure come back.
