Location is fantastic. Mostly quiet. Close proximity to National Forests. Nice residents. The owner is a very kind and wonderful man who's a pleasure to rent from.
The owner is phenomenal! As for location, it is quiet and peaceful right between Smokey Park highway and the Parkway. Around the corner is a large park we love to walk in. There are full hook ups, wifi, and a vibe of relaxation. The grounds are clean and cared for. Everyone I've met here has been courteous, too!
Dan is a great owner and his son is super helpful! Beautiful views, great RV neighbors, well kept and affordable! It is a bit out of the way from Asheville proper if that’s what you’re looking for, but it’s a hop, skip and a jump from the Blue Ridge Parkway! Plus Ingles is only about ten minutes up the road as well as other amenities such as a laundry mat (though we went into West Asheville and went to Dutch Girls which is cleanest and nicest laundry spot around). The only downside, the neighbors are super trashy and not very friendly. We were lot 10 and had to deal with what seemed to be a junk yard rather than a towing company and they were in and out with loud vehicles at all hours. And I hope you like cats; those folks also have a colony of cats that the kind RV park residents care for and try to get spayed and neutered. We stayed there for three months and if we didn’t buy a house, we probably we have stayed longer; you can’t beat what Dan charges and how he actually cares about the people park and people who live there.
If you are looking for a place to park your RV that is peaceful and quiet with a great view, this is it. About 15 minutes from an ingels and restaurants, only 10 from a DG (but what isn't these days).
I stayed at Pisgah View Rv Park for almost 9 months while on contract at Mission Hospital. Dan OKelly is the owner of the park. Dan is a pleasure when it comes to your needs at the park. The park is well maintained and peaceful. The views are spectacular, not to mention a very short drive, and you're on the Blue Ridge Parkway. During my stay, the water pleasure is great ,35-40psi, and the wifi met my needs. There are no amenities, but you don't need them here. Nature and the short drive to hikes are all you need.
