Mt. Gilead Koa Holiday

We love this campground!! It is clean! The shower rooms and bathrooms are so nice! Love the trash pick up service! The restaurant Bonfire Bar on site is fantastic. You are also close to town if you want to venture out. It has nice trails you can walk or ride a golf cart on. All the staff I’ve had interactions with have been helpful, friendly and fun! Our kids are grown now so it’s nice they also have activities for the adults like Bingo, Wine & Shine and Euchre etc.

Absolutely amazing! We only spent one night here because we were traveling through, but got her in the mid afternoon and had time to check out the facilities. This is one of the nicest KOAs I've ever stayed. The campground is beautiful and the facilities were so nice. They even have an on site restaurant and bar. The sites are paved (at least where we were) and really level. The staff was really nice and made sure our stay was perfect.

This is the best KOA we have ever been to! The place is immaculate and beautiful. There is plenty of greenspace and shady trees. The amenities are also great with jump pad, driving range, hiking trails, swimming pool, and even a bar and grill type place on site. The bath house provided shampoo, soap, and conditioner. I was amazed at the 'Presidential Site' It had everything including a washer/dryer unit at the site. Next time we will spend more time here. We camped at Mt. Gilead / Mid-Ohio KOA in a Motorhome.

Showerhouses, gorgeous. Pool, great. Things for kids to do, no brainer. Place for dogs to meet, greet, and poo.... Yup, that too! Ice cream, restaurant, crafts... They even deliver firewood and food to you, if you don't want to go get it! They even have a driving range, so take your clubs! Don't like that? They have a pond to fish in!!! The ONLY gripe that I have... The firepits. They're down in the concrete, and don't get any updraft, so you're stuck sucking in smoke, because you can never get a fire to burn well. DEFINITELY will be back!

They never disappoint! Grounds are always well maintained (mowed, no trash laying around, fire pits cleaned out), drinks are ice cold and yummy from Bonfire and our kiddos are well worn out at night with everything to do. Can’t wait to go back as it feels like home. Give them a try!
