Oakwood RV Resort

Very pleased with our recent stay. We reserved online and our paperwork was waiting for us when we arrived after hours. Spots were well maintained and easy to back in to. (They also have pull through spots.) Plenty of space to walk our two dogs and let them run in the one of the two fenced in dog areas. Garbage pickup every day when left at the end of your camper spot. Pool was a good size and looked very clear and clean. We didn’t use any of the other facilities so I can’t comment on those. People were friendly. If we’re in the area again we would definitely camp here.

We had an awesome stay at Oakwood. The sites are clean and plenty of room to maneuver the RV. Showers and bathrooms were spacious and super clean. All personnel were friendly and helpful. Great location!

Would have been nice, at least the first night was cool. Second, I got told they wouldn't be able to accommodate me, due to my tiny camper van is a no build and doesn't have plumbing. The online ad says camper vans, I read, and whole reason I booked there. Also, I'm confused on if you provide bathrooms and showers, why is it a requirement to have in camper? Which I do have camper toilet (emergencies only).

We stayed here for 5 nights. The park is nicely located. Bathrooms and laundry room are kept spotless. Games, puzzles and books available. Multiple trash cans around making it easy for folks to clean up. Trash pick up available at site. Three dog run areas. Super friendly staff. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will return when we go back to Fredericksburg.

This is a great place. I have RV'ed with my family twice at this park, and the setup is excellent. The location is just off downtown, and it's really only like a 4-minute drive. When I stayed during Oktoberfest, I took an Uber, and it was 6 dollars each way if you plan to hit the wine and beer places downtown. The staff is fantastic, whether you deal with them on the phone or in person, they make you feel welcome and take care of you. The facilities are clean, and the restrooms are immaculate. We will be staying again every time we go RV'ing down to Fredericksburg.
