This place rocks!!!!!!! So much history here and you can roll the dice for a free room! The cafe and rooms were fantastic for the price. My room, 222 did need a new mattress though (queen closest to window) Will definitely be back

Well honestly we didn't even plan on going to this place or staying there for as long as we did. We were on vacation headed up to Oregon from Phoenix Arizona and ended up getting stuck in their parking lot with our travel trailer, for almost a month. I won't go into detail about the many obstacles we encountered during our stay but if it wasn't for Elias the manager we would have probably lost everything and or still been stuck there. He was so helpful and understanding and we appreciate everything he did. The place really isn't anything special but during our time there we had a lot of fun and felt very safe and comfortable. If we ever end up back in Tonopah, Nevada that's the only place we'll stay only because of how much he helped us and seemed to generally care about not making our vacation any worse that it already was. Thank you again Elias! Another fun thing about this hotel is that if you roll three of a kind you get your room for free.

While some recent reviews were positive, I just can’t leave a very positive review. The museum-type grounds were very interesting and enjoyable to look at. The bed was comfortable, and the room layout was nice, but the bathroom smelled terrible. It smelled like raw sewage the entire time. We had to leave the window in the room open to help to dissipate the odor. We didn’t bother to complain because the grumpy receptionist told us that they were completely booked. Others mentioned this place was clean, well not so much for us, because in our room the bathroom floor was very dirty, I took a wet Kleenex and wiped around the shower and picked up hair and dust and dirt from the floor. Also, the fan in the bathroom did not work so after taking a shower, it was very steamy and wet in there. I leaned over by the nightstand to plug in my phone charger and it was simply filthy with dust and hair along the baseboard and behind the nightstand. Probably had not been vacuumed or dusted for months. Anyway, outside of the room, we had wanted to watch the World Series from the motel bar, but the cigarette smoke was so thick it made it impossible. After paying nearly $100 for a room, I was very disappointed. I wish I would’ve paid a little bit more money and stayed in one of the other hotels.

Affordable little casino hotel While the Tonopah Station Hotel might not be a traditional 5 star hotel, it was a surprisingly good room for $85. I was going to stay at Best Western, but this was cheaper and it's much more fun to stay at a casino with a restaurant and bar. The breakfast skillet was very hearty. Perhaps not a great menu for those looking for lighter fare. It's not that kind of place. I greatly appreciate a hotel with a full service bar in the lobby that's open until midnight. The bar had bottles of beer, but no taps. I guess tap beer is hard to come by in the middle of nowhere.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was great and dog friendly. Cafe was good for dinner and will be going back for breakfast. Will defiantly stay here again when passing through. They have a nice RV stayover park out back as well which is how we normally travel so glad to see it but this time it was a room! Pricing is good too!
