Pine View Campground

A hidden gem among RV parks. As a veteran or service member, you will receive a great discount. The park is extremely nice, well maintained with level parking, and well maintained utility services. It has several amenities: putt putt golf, playground with nice equipment, beach along a clear water stream, bicycles for reasonable rent, etc. Google Maps tried to take us through Ft. McCoy. There is no access from the enclosed compound. Get directions from the office before you arrive. Only one item of caution - the campground is on Ft. McCoy: Reveille and Taps are played every day.

I habe stayed at this location for the last 2 years during the Warrens cranfest. It's close to the festival and private at night. The cabin i have stayed in suited 3 of us adults with stocked items to use while there. It was warm and cozy on tje cool night but nice and cool in the warm day. The shower heat was fenomonial for those who like good pressure and actual warm water.

All in all, a beautiful spot. Stunning and relaxing. Swimming, hiking, wildlife, R&R. Will come back often. Now something that MUST get fixed— the sand burs by the beach and volleyball/playgrounds pits. Not sure what the staff can do, but WARNING if your kids (or you) are bare foot, you will step on many burs and your kids will scream and cry. It’s bad. At least put a sign up—or something. Now a more complex problem—that would probably require a ton of money. Your lake is dead or dying. No fish, no frogs, and only snapping turtles. We’ve been coming here on and off for over 20 years and there used to be tons of fish, frogs and turtles. Why is it dead now? I have no idea. The carpet of muck? The shallow waters? Again, not sure.

nice campground, shooting goes on a little late but cool. Outlet was bad, made a phone call and they had it fixed within an hour. We tented so can't say how the rooms were.

Pine View is one of my families absolute favorite camp grounds. With all the activities my kids are able to be on the go all day and never get board. Love that there is no cable or wifi so my kids can truly disconnect and just have fun. Love all the special events the campground hosts for added fun.
