Amazing place to have breakfast. In the middle of nowhere, Dam Diner is the oxygen my wife and I needed. Classic traditional eggs breakfast with perfect Baked Bacon, great coffee with timely refills, great smiley service. Driving from Chama was well worth it. We willbe back soon

The staff is really nice, great store with a pretty good selection of stuff….. BUT we had to leave early because of the SMELL of sewage!!! I know it’s an old park that is trin to reopen after many years being closed , but it really felt like we were camping at an abandoned place with dead trees, over grown grass, and the smell of nasty was so strong I had trouble being at the park .- I’m sure it’s an old Septc system but it’s definitely not “rental ready” and needs alot of service. It Definitely did not help that they placed us at the back of the park by the smell-🤢-

El Vado RV Park has a DINER!!! El Vado Diner! They are getting their feet under them and lots of plans for future additions! You will not be disappointed in the portions! The Friday night special of Fish and Chips arrived to the table with THREE huge, in-house battered cod, potatoes and slaw for $15. Marlo (El Vado Diner's chef) greeted us and brought our water, we didn't know he was the chef until we asked who prepared our yummy meal and our server told us. It is exciting to have a restaurant OPEN for dinner in northern New Mexico (Tierra Amarilla/Chama area) and judging from the number of customers on this visit, so are A LOT of people! Another customer told us they came in for lunch earlier in the week and the burrito was outstanding! Definitely looking forward to the next visit! El Vado Diner is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, be SURE to check them out for a date, when company is in town or you're just hungry!
