The Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) is a renowned venue, though often overlooked, that serves as a hub for a diverse range of events. From the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS), one of the world's premier truck shows, to farming exhibitions, races, school events, and even concerts, the KEC is a versatile and dynamic space. During a recent delivery of special packages for the upcoming farming event in February 2026, I had the opportunity to witness the impressive setup firsthand. The event promises to showcase a plethora of new products from industry giants such as JCB, John Deere, McCormick, and FENDT, all of which are looking better than ever. The sheer scale and variety of offerings make it a must-see for anyone interested in the latest agricultural innovations. What's even more remarkable is the ongoing construction of yet another section, a testament to the KEC's continued growth and commitment to providing ample space for its various events. Overall, the Kentucky Exposition Center is a well-designed and efficiently managed facility. While there could be improvements in staffing at the gates to facilitate deliveries, the KEC offers plenty of space and straightforward entry/exit points, making it easy for visitors and vendors alike to navigate. The KEC's dedication to excellence and continuous improvement is truly commendable. One love MAT’S 🔥💯♥️
We had the opportunity to attend the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS)for the first time, in support of the nonprofit organization She Trucking, founded by Sharae Moore, and this was also our first official trucking event where we conducted on-site interviews. Being able to interview men and women truckers from literally all over the world made the experience even more meaningful. MATS Mis-American Truck Show is a massive event, with thousands upon thousands of attendees daily. The meet-and-greet opportunities were endless, and the energy throughout the event was unmatched. The event itself is extremely well organized, with multiple levels of activities happening simultaneously. The staff was professional, helpful, and welcoming, which made navigating such a large event smooth and enjoyable. She Trucking did a fantastic job organizing our participation at MATS and creating an environment that supported connection, visibility, and engagement. It was an honor to be there representing and supporting such an impactful nonprofit. If you are a trucker—especially a woman in trucking or someone looking to fully immerse yourself in the trucking industry, this is one of the largest and most comprehensive trucking events you can attend.
This place is massive! 4 wings, over 1 million square feet of indoor space. I have visited multiple times for the state fair, but the true scope of its size wasn't apparent due to all large crowds. This past weekend my son's and I competed in a powerlifting contest in the west wing, along with other strength events. The area we competeted in was clean, spacious and the event staff made us feel welcomed. After the comp we explored the rest of expo center, as other events were occurring as well. Doing this allowed me to realize how absolutely massive this place is!
I visited this convention center multiple times for different events always very easy access to get in and out plenty of parking and most of the staff is always usually pleasant. Honestly, the biggest complaint I would have is the cost of the food for some of the conventions it's honestly pretty ridiculous.
Utility Expo 2025, great show that happens every other year in Louisville. Who’s the newest technology to install Utility Services; Electricity, Has, Water from the sky to the ground and underwater new devices and tools help the man onsite, wireless or wireless. Making more efficient and safer installation. Robotics, drones, analytics help the company to be more productive and warranty the best results possible in the job. The bad; the entrance in the morning and exit in the afternoon is a complete disaster, traffic jam and lack of options and wrong road signs make it difficult to move forward. Arrives too early (before 7:30) and leave before 4:pm to avoid the traffic
