Stayed in the unpowered section. Not a lot of flat area, dirty walk to amenities in wet weather. Amenities ok, camp kitchen ok. Staff very lovely. Very over priced park for what you get for unpowered stay. Wouldn't bother again.
We had previously stayed at this park and it has gone downhill dramatically, maintaince of the grounds is non existent. There are 2 camp kitchens and the stove in neither works. The tv doesn’t work, the microwave is filthy. Speaking to some permanents we were told that the park is being left to run down. We tried to get into the other park in town and it was full, this park had 4 vans only ….. no wonder.
Kim provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient, especially when it came to guiding me on how to find the location. Her clear directions and willingness to go the extra mile made everything so easy and stress-free. Truly a great example of excellent customer service—thank you, Kim!
We had a fantastic stay at Daylesford Holiday Park on a powered site with our caravan and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the park felt welcoming, calm and very well cared for. Our powered site was generous in size, level, and easy to access, which made setting up the caravan simple and stress free. The power and water connections were conveniently placed, and there was plenty of space around us without feeling cramped by neighbouring sites. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of greenery large trees and a peaceful atmosphere that really suits the Daylesford district. The shower water pressure was amazing and the camp kitchen had everything we needed to whip up a meal.(free electric bbq, oven, hot plates. For dishes dishwashing soap, scourers and tea towels provided) The location is excellent. It’s close enough to explore easily Daylesford’s lakes, and drive 5 minutes to markets, cafes and spas, but far enough away to feel quiet and restful at the end of the day. The park itself feels safe, family friendly and relaxed, with a lovely balance of nature and comfort, and best of all pet friendly. Staff were friendly, helpful and approachable, and it was clear they take pride in the park and genuinely care about guests having a good stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Daylesford Holiday Park is a great option for caravan travellers looking for a clean, comfortable, well located and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended.
Great that when I called to arrive earlier that day for our site, it was not a problem ( this was great ). The park had some seriously old and dated on-site vans which are an eyesore. Bathrooms were clean, just one shower from.Sat to Mon was needing attention and thought cleaner would have picked up on this. Would I stay again, yes, its a great town and the off lead area next to van Park was a bonus.
