Over the weekend we visited the North Huron Yogi Bear Park and stayed in their cozy cabin which is their base model cabin. It was Halloween weekend so as you can assume very busy! The cozy cabin was nice itself however the lighting in the cabin was a bit minimal. Also we were a bit surprised on how close the cabins were to the other cabins and quiet hours were unfortunately not enforced. The walls of the cabin were paper thin and you can hear all types of road noise and other camper noises. The shower house was nice and clean although the shower was an automatic shower which was quite odd! There also is a “kamp kitchen” where they only offer sinks and a grill without anything else. Its a bit tight but plenty of room for 2 of us plus the dog. Check in and out was easy and very straightforward. The location of the park is okay, we were off the main road and it was a bit noisy at times and there wasnt much around the area to do or see except the lake. Overall 3/5

This place was nice and clean. Trick or treating was a great activity. We stayed in site 159 which was real small and barely accommodated our camper. Every site near us was double the size. Our awning was 1 foot away from the next sites utilities. Thankful that the person on that site didn't discharge his tanks until the day he left. This site should be reserved for a non slide out camper. We will revisit but just not that site.

The place was very well maintained and beautiful grounds. However we were charged per person for our campsite which I assumed would mean that some of the Halloween activities would be included. This was not the case. Nearly everything was an upcharge. The events we did attend were poorly organized and didn't really seem like the employees knew what they were supposed to be doing. This campground allows golf carts/rentals, which is nice because it is pretty big, but they allowed them to be driven around while the kids were trick or treating which was really dangerous for those of us walking around. The campground itself was really nice, but I don't think I'd come back for their Halloween weekends.

This was our second time staying at a Jellystone park. The deluxe cabin was a perfect location in the park, close to all the activities. The only reason I did not give the room a 5 star rating was because of the cobwebs. All of the windows and ceiling fans were covered. I will say I did not call to complain as I didn't want to waste my time and just cleaned the windows myself. Over all it was a wonderful stay! Our kids are looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here this past weekend because i had a couple dive charters schedules on lake Huron for the weekend and took the family with me. It is their off peak season so a lot of attractions were close. The place is really clean and it seems like its well taken care of. We did have a few issues but after speaking with the grounds keeper and the owners they righted any concerns we had. We will be back during the peak times to check the place out at 100%. Although there wasn't many people there i can envision our son having a lot of fun when everything is open. The camp store was really big and well organized as well as everyone we spoke to was very friendly and accommodating.
