Came for a day of fishing & sight seeing. Didn't disappoint. Fishermen were happy. Boat trip was fantastic; the falls were fun to get to, fished there & did a walk about. Beautiful landscape & stunning vistas.

It's amazing! Wonderful walking trails and a panaromic trail with a breathtaking view! We were surprised and enjoyed it a lot! Perfect for family outdoors and hiking.

Out of all the places we drove around the area trying to hunt down the Northern lights, this is the place that came for two nights and we stayed a few hours and saw the best show we’ve ever seen. The three factors that’s needed to see the beautiful Aroura are: the sky needs to be clear and not cloudy that night, there needs to be solar flare activity for that day/night, and you need to be in the right location. The locals said that you need to check the site "astronomynorth" to see the probability is for Yellowknife area, and check the site "auroramax" to see if the live cam sees anything, and last just need to be patient and wait for after midnight or 1am. If you want to capture it on a camera, you better have a really good low light phone or dedicated camera on hand, because out of 4 people with 4 phone cameras and 2 dedicated digital cameras, only one phone was able to capture these pictures while the rest only captured fuzzy faded mess. Good luck!

This is an amazing trail if you are into hiking I highly recommend so many amazing view and beautiful scenic points along the path to the lake. You will also experience the beautiful colorful Canadian shield which have very special characteristic. Highly recommend this trail

Awesome. Didn't camp here but the sites look good (though maybe not very private because the trees aren't really thick). The Nature Trail is very well marked and takes you through varied terrain: smooth rock uplands, sand flats, forests. Bug intensity was much lower than at Cameron Falls.
