Water is available at the Cottonwood Campground, which is located at Hwy. 395 to Hwy. 70. To get there, you need to go west on Hwy. 70 to Chilcoot, then head north on Hwy. 284 until you reach the Frenchman Lake Reservoir. At the reservoir, turn left (but do not cross the dam) to reach the Cottonwood Campground.
