Sunset Campground

This is our third summer camping here and my kids love it. The staff have been wonderful, especially Basil who works at the pool. We intend to continue to make this a summer tradition.

Awesome campground, great staff! Lots of great activities, awesome pool, huge playground and fields for games like soccer and volleyball. Basketball/tennis court as well as street hockey. Great rec center with hot food as well as snacks. Great hayride for kids and also a really fun hayride on Saturday evening for adults. Karaoke nights, live music every Saturday night, chocolate bar bingo, adult bingo, card nights for adults. Lots of great treed lots and nice walking throughout the campground. Clean washrooms and great laundry facilities. Lots of shopping at the boardwalk just steps from the campground. Just minutes to amusement parks, National park, Beach, and many golf courses. Just overall an amazing campground!

Best campground ever ! Lots of fun activities for kids as well as adults, if you get a chance definitely check out Jason's adult hayrides it's a blast ! The heated sectioned off pool was great, Kids enjoyed gathering and playing together at the playground. we stayed in E loop, close to rec,pool and most importantly the bathrooms, which are kept extremely clean and endless hot water. Friendly staff and well orientated campground. See ya next year sunset !

Our family had a wonderful time camping with Sunset Campground this week. We arrived Sunday from Nova Scotia, and we tented on the A loop. We were close to the washroom, boardwalk as well as the REC centre. The campground has daily programming for children, and our 3 year old son loved the hayrides! The washrooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were so very friendly to us - even offering up tarps when rain was in the forecast. Snacks and prepared food on site are well priced, and it was wonderful to see the campground employing local youth who seemed happy to be there. We were located close to all tourist attractions, and slept well every evening as there was limited noise after 10 pm. 10/10 will return!

Great campground, right near Cavendish beach. They have hundreds of sites, we've stayed in both serviced and unserviced sites many times and have always had a great stay. The washrooms are always clean and well stocked, they have nice wooded lots with some shade and privacy. There seems to be a lot of activities for families, there is also a pool, canteen and large playground. They even rent out golf carts to make it easier to get around the campground since it's so big! Great location near a lot of attractions and the staff are friendly when booking and checking in and out.
