The campground is open year-round, but the RV dump station is not open year-round. The payment machine does not accept bills, so it is recommended to bring loonies and toonies for payment. Potable water and rinse water (non-potable) are available at the site. The campground is located 3 km (1.9 miles) north of Campbell River on central Vancouver Island, specifically on Highway 28 toward Gold River.
