Lake Erie Islands State Park

Absolutely beautiful park! It was the perfect place to watch a sunset!

Although this is a small state park the location on Catawba Island definitely makes it worth a visit if you're in the area. It has a couple of boat ramps,a large pier,shelter house, restrooms, plenty of parking, small playground and scenic views of Lake Erie.

Went at Sunset, it was beautiful! Not many people there and there is a small playground near the parking lot.

Small State Park on Catawba Island. Appears the park is mostly used for boaters as there are boat launch ramps and an area for launching kayaks and canoes. Great views of Lake Erie. There is also a picnic area and the restrooms are clean. The parking area is large to accommodate all the boat trailers.

Amazing place to launch the boat!... although it's a little tight. If you forget a life jacket, they have FREE loaners! The sunsets are amazing! There's a covered picnic area. And the shitters are ALWAYS clean!!
